Expands Contegix service offering to a complete end-to-end suite for Atlassian customers

ST. LOUIS (Oct. 3, 2018) – Contegix, a leading cloud application services provider, has acquired Equip, an Atlassian professional services firm and Platinum Solution Partner. With the acquisition, Contegix is now the first full-stack Atlassian service provider to deliver a single source for License Management, Migration, Hybrid Cloud Hosting, Implementation and Tier 1 through Tier 3 Support.

With more than 14 years of experience providing Atlassian application hosting, Contegix will now expand their managed hosting services to support a full stack of Atlassian offerings. By providing advanced end-to-end Atlassian services coupled with secure environments, including FedRAMP compliant solutions, Contegix brings a unique offering to market that will be unparalleled in the Atlassian ecosystem.

“The acquisition of Equip now gives us the certified Atlassian expertise and experience to serve our customers through the full-stack and ongoing support of the Atlassian application,” said David Turner, CEO of Contegix. “This full stack of Atlassian offerings including license management, migration, implementation, and secure hosting allows Contegix to fully deploy Atlassian tools and deliver on our Go Beyond commitment to our customers.”

Equip was founded in 2013 by Mick Flanigan and has offices in Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, Washington. Flanigan will remain with Contegix, leading the company’s professional services team.

“I am extremely proud of what Equip has achieved, our culture and our commitment to our clients. Contegix shares our same vision and values, which made this combination a natural fit,” said Flanigan. “I am excited about the future and believe that collectively we will continue a legacy that will accelerate growth for our employees and clients.”

The acquisition of Equip marks Contegix’s fourth acquisition. In 2016, the company acquired Distributed Systems Services, Inc., (“DSS”), an IT infrastructure solutions provider, and Admo.net Web Services, LLC, a cloud and managed-services provider based in Kansas City, Missouri. In June 2017, Contegix acquired BlackMesh, Inc., a cloud services provider specializing in web content management application hosting and secure compliance solutions based in Ashburn, Virginia.

The combined company now serves more than 1,000 customers in both the public and private sectors and employs more than 265 people. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Polsinelli acted as legal counsel to Contegix who is backed by Strattam Capital.
