Acendre Acquires ICS Learning Group
Talent Management Suite Purpose Built for Highly Regulated Industries

Arlington, VA and Pasadena, MD, May 20, 2019 – Acendre, a leader in secure, cloud-based talent management software for government agencies and companies operating in regulated industries, today announced the acquisition of ICS Learning Group. The combined solution will deliver to the regulated industry a powerful, secure end-to-end talent management solution.
ICS Learning Group delivers e-learning training solutions including Learning Management Systems (LMS) and custom courseware development to customers in the manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, pharmaceutical markets as well as for government sectors. Their flagship product, Asentia LMS, boasts a powerful workflow engine and has been carefully designed to seamlessly blend the most advanced eLearning technology with time-tested conventional training methods, all within a rich learning ecosystem that fosters collaboration and communication.
“We’re excited to be joining forces with Acendre to provide a learning management platform that will be tightly integrated with their Talent Management System to provide customers with the full-circle solution from hiring through on-boarding to performance and training,” said Ed Gipple, CEO of ICS Learning Group. “The combined solution will allow Acendre customers to complete the path from sourcing to productivity and engagement in one secure platform.”
In complex regulated industries, customers need simple, streamlined solutions to ensure their hires are quickly productive and compliant. Many commercial, “out of the box” solutions don’t meet the needs of regulated industries, so customers end up in costly customization and integration projects. Acendre solves this challenge with a highly configurable, powerful SaaS solution that allows customers to quickly get up, running, and realizing the benefit.
“Acendre is dedicated to partnering with customers who have complex hiring and development processes that must be automated to compete for talent,” said Mike Giuffrida, CEO of Acendre. “This deal builds on that commitment by introducing an extremely high caliber learning management platform that shares that same commitment. Combined we can offer a truly powerful and unique talent management SaaS solution for the regulated industry market.”
The acquisition of ICS Learning Group comes five months after a majority equity investment by Strattam Capital in Acendre to accelerate growth and more quickly advance its innovative, easy-to-use Software as a Service (SaaS) talent management platform.
