Bob Morse is CEO and Co-Founder of Strattam Capital, a private equity firm focused on established, high-potential business technology companies. Founded in 2013, Strattam has offices in Austin and San Francisco. Previously, Mr. Morse was a Partner at Oak Hill Capital Partners, and has also worked at Loudcloud, an internet infrastructure pioneer, GCC Investments, and Morgan Stanley. Mr. Morse holds an MBA from Stanford University, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar, and a BSE, summa cum laude, from Princeton University. He currently serves on the Board of Doxim Holdings, Trax Technologies, Blacksmith Applications and Contegix, as well as the Advisory Board of the HMTF Center for Private Equity Finance at the University of Texas in Austin.
Co-Founder & Managing Director
Adrian Polak co-founded Strattam Capital in 2013. He is a member of the board of directors of Doxim Holdings, Blacksmith Applications, Contegix and Trax Technologies. Previously, Mr. Polak was a Senior Advisor in the Technology Group for Oak Hill Capital Partners. Prior to his engagement at Oak Hill, Mr. Polak was Vice President at Rockwood Capital where his primary responsibility was to implement the firm’s data center investment program. Mr. Polak’s experience previous to Rockwood includes having been the Manager of Corporate and Business Development at Kontiki, an internet infrastructure company, and an Associate in the M&A group at Hambrecht and Quist (now JP Morgan Chase). Mr. Polak earned his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California – Berkeley, and his B.Com (Honors) from Queen’s University.
Chief Operating Officer
Heather Malloy is the COO of Strattam. Previous to joining Strattam, Ms. Malloy was an independent consultant advising asset managers on all aspects of strategic growth, including firm, fund and product launches, debt and vehicle structurings, and market positioning. Ms. Malloy was a director, principal, and transitional executive in a number of asset management firms, including Kingsland Capital Management, the Allcot Group, Atyp Global Partners, and Tocqueville Asset Management. Prior to establishing a consulting practice, she was a Managing Director at Société Générale, and at Bear, Stearns & Co. where she worked from 1998 to 2007, most recently as global head of hedge fund product management at Bear, Stearns Asset Management. Ms. Malloy earned a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Ray Villareal joined Strattam Capital as a Managing Director in 2016 after serving as an Executive Advisor in 2015. Mr. Villareal leads the overall operational engagement with Strattam portfolio companies with personal emphasis on go-to-market strategy and related execution improvement activities. Previously, Mr. Villareal held senior executive positions with LifeSize, SumTotal Systems, WebEx, Compaq and Tandem Computers across a variety of functions including global sales, marketing, professional services, customer success and business development. In addition, Mr. Villareal has served as CEO, Board Member and Advisor for several venture-backed private companies. Mr. Villareal earned his B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and his MBA from Stanford University.
Hilary Fleischer is responsible for deal sourcing, new investment activity and portfolio company operational oversight. She is a board director for Blacksmith Applications and works closely with Contegix. Ms. Fleischer joined Strattam in 2014.
Prior to joining Strattam, Ms. Fleischer was an Associate at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. where she was responsible for private equity due diligence, deal execution and portfolio company oversight. While at KKR, Ms. Fleischer was involved in the firm’s investments in El Paso Midstream Investment Corporation and SunTap Energy. She also had portfolio company responsibilities for Rockwood Holdings. Previous to KKR, she was an Analyst at Lazard, focused on mergers and acquisitions.
Ms. Fleischer earned her MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and earned her B.S. and B.A.S. summa cum laude from the Jerome Fisher Program of Management and Technology at the University of Pennsylvania.
Kyle Reesing is responsible for deal sourcing, new investment activity and portfolio company operational oversight. He is a board director for Doxim Holdings and works closely with Trax Technologies. Mr. Reesing joined Strattam in 2014.
Prior to joining Strattam, Mr. Reesing was an Associate Intern at Vista Equity Partners, where he focused on M&A opportunities of software and technology-enabled businesses. While at Vista, Mr. Reesing led multiple product profitability initiatives with the product management team at Accruent, a Vista portfolio company. Prior to Vista, he was an Associate at Gefinor Capital, a private equity firm focused on investing in middle market technology companies, where he was responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, and execution.
Mr. Reesing earned his MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas – Austin and earned his B.S. with distinction from the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University, where he played varsity baseball.
Debra Danielson is a Distinguished Engineer and is Senior Vice President, Merger and Acquisition Strategy at CA Technologies responsible for identification of opportunities within fast moving and important new and existing markets, technologies and trends to achieve key strategic goals. Debra also serves as an Executive Advisor for Strattam Capital, focused on product and technology diligence and product strategy.
Debra has held technical, strategic, operational and managerial roles over her 25+ year career at CA Technologies, most recently as Senior Vice President, Center of Excellence, where she was responsible for common engineering services, competence for non-functional requirements, and site & skill strategy in support of the Development and Technology Group. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President, Emerging Strategic Alliances focusing on developing business opportunities with organizations which are not traditional strategic partners with CA Technologies.
Debra has experience across all aspects of research and development and holds a bachelor of arts in economics and applied mathematics from Boston University.
Kimberley Kasper joined Strattam as an Executive Advisor in 2016. Kimberley is currently serves as the interim Marketing VP for a Strattam portfolio company, and is bringing marketing best practices to the entire Strattam portfolio. This includes best practices for a marketing technology stack, modern marketing metrics/reporting, and high impact demand generation programs.
Kimberley is a strategic marketer with over 20 years of experience delivering bottom line results for several highly respected B2B brands. Most recently, she has been focused on marketing SaaS and cloud technologies to the SMB and mid-market. She has held leadership roles at leading SaaS software companies including CMO roles at Jobvite and SumTotal Systems, VP Marketing at Taleo for their Business Edition product line, and led WW direct marketing at WebEx and North American demand generation for salesforce.com.
She holds a BS degree in business administration from Chapman University.
David Rolf is a seasoned technology executive, investor, and dealmaker who serves as Executive Advisor to Strattam Capital. David diligences new opportunities for Strattam and has led three Acquisitions and Integrations for Strattam portfolio companies.
Previously, David was SVP, Corporate Development at CA Technologies, where he developed the M&A strategy and led the team responsible for deal sourcing, evaluation, and execution across the highly acquisitive Fortune 500 enterprise software company. Previously, David was a Venture Capitalist and Kauffmann Fellow, as well as President of North America for Gate5 AG, a Berlin-based mobile GPS navigation software company acquired by Nokia in 2006, and an executive during the early days of Walmart.com. David started his career with the Boston Consulting Group, and earned an MBA from Stanford University and a BA, cum laude from Princeton University.
Ed has been a Human Resources professional and executive coach in the Bay Area for over 30 years, where he has led a number of global HR and Learning teams. While building global HR teams has been his primary role, his increasingly strong passion has been the development of people for companies including Pixar, Atheros, and Pandora as well as several venture-backed firms. These companies have represented a diverse array of technologies and missions, but they have all shared a focus on attracting great employees and building strong corporate cultures that stress employee engagement.
In 2006, he released “At the Table: A Menu of Perspectives on Today’s HR” on DVD.
Ed earned a BS in Business from San Jose State University and is credentialed through the International Coaching Federation at the PCC level. He has coached individuals and small teams globally in executive, career and workplace management.
